Why I designed the Gratitude Journal

Gratitude journal

Taking ten minutes every evening to focus on what is positive in your life and what you are grateful for has numerous benefits, research shows over and over. Of course this does not mean that all your troubles will vanish and that everything can be fixed with positive thinking. Not at all! But it is a way of focusing your attention on abundance instead of lack, in other words training your brain to be a little happier. To me personally, there is nothing better than putting all other media aside and just putting pen to paper. Have you ever tried feeling better after writing down your thoughts?

A question in the Gratitude Journal

Eight different questions are repeated throughout the notebook:

  • Three things I am grateful for
  • One thing I can be proud of
  • A person I am grateful for
  • The best part about today
  • A reason to be excited for the future...

A question in the Gratitude Journal

An act of kindness I received...

A question in the Gratitude Journal

A valuable lesson I learned or am learning...

A question in the Gratitude Journal

How can I show my gratitude to the people I care about...
